Vently Privacy Policy

1 Who We Are

Vently ("the app") is a stress-release game made by BynarTek ("we", "us" or "our"), a technology company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This policy explains what happens to information when you use Vently. Our general privacy policy covers our website and other products.

2 Camera and Microphone

Vently asks for permission to use your camera and microphone. You can allow either, both or neither; the app explains what works without each one.

2.1 Camera

When allowed, the front camera is used to read your facial expression (for example, how wide your mouth is open) so the app can respond to a scream, even a silent one. Each camera frame is analysed on your device by a face-tracking model built into the app, turned into a few numbers describing your expression, and then discarded immediately.

2.2 Microphone

When allowed, the microphone is used to measure how loud you are, and in some scenes whether you are blowing at the phone. The sound is analysed on your device in short moments of a few hundredths of a second each, turned into a loudness level, and then discarded immediately.

You can turn either permission off at any time in your device's settings.

3 What Is Stored on Your Device

Vently saves a few small settings and markers on your device, none of which identify you:

• your language and whether sound is on;
• whether you have bought Vently Full;
• the date you first opened the app, used to give new players their first free days;
• the time until which a scene you unlocked by watching a rewarded ad stays open;
• your camera-preview setting, and the size and position of the small preview bubble (the preview is only shown on screen, never recorded).

The short calibration at the start (which measures your resting face and the room's background noise) is kept in memory for the current session only and is not saved.

These items never leave your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.

4 Advertising

Vently is free and shows occasional full-screen ads between scenes, served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect: your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers; your approximate location (derived from your IP address); app interactions such as ad views and taps; and crash logs and diagnostics. Google uses this for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. This data is collected by Google, not by us, and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. • Consent: if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent (through Google's consent form) before any personalised advertising.
• Personalised ads: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads). On iOS, the app may ask permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites; you can say no, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you say no, ads are not personalised.
• Rewarded ads: some scenes can be unlocked for 24 hours by choosing to watch a short ad. Watching is always optional.
• Ads never receive anything from the camera or microphone.

In-app purchase. You can buy “Vently Full” (every scene, no ads) once. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms and privacy policies; we never see your card or payment details. The app only remembers on your device that you own it, and asks the store to confirm it again (for example after a reinstall, or with “Restore purchases”).

5 Other Technical Data

Vently does not include analytics or tracking of its own. The app is built with the Unity engine, which may collect limited technical information (such as device model, operating system and crash information) as described in Unity's Privacy Policy. App stores (Google Play and the App Store) handle downloads and may collect information under their own policies.

6 Children's Privacy

Vently is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age for consent in your country, where that is higher) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help.

7 Security and Retention

Because Vently does not send camera images, audio or personal details to us, we have no such data to store, secure or retain. Your two saved preferences stay on your device until you uninstall the app.

8 Your Choices and Rights

• Allow or deny camera and microphone access at any time in your device settings.
• Manage advertising preferences as described in section 4, and your ad consent through the app's consent form where it applies.
• Uninstall the app to remove everything it saved on your device. Vently has no accounts, so there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
• To have Google delete advertising data about you, use your Google account's activity and ads controls (myaccount.google.com) or reset your advertising ID in your device settings.

Depending on where you live (for example under Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Decree or the EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since we hold none from the app, requests about advertising data should go to Google; for anything else, contact us.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy, for example when the app gains new features. We will change the "Last Updated" date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
